Who are we?
Hi! Our names are Bryant, Dave and Jim. We started Next Step Iowa LLC in 2022. We met each other through networking and relationship building as well as crossing paths in our retail careers. As we all worked on our own real estate businesses, we relied on helping each other grow both our businesses and our experiences. The natural "Next Step" was to work together to continue to grow.
As family men, we operate our business with that top priority in mind, family. That goes the same for the people we buy from, flip for, or rent to. It's about building a great community in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City corridor, and providing a great experience for all involved. Our goal is to help you with your Next Step in your journey.
How We Do It
Straight Forward, No Pressure
We buy properties and fix them up as needed.  Then we either rent them out or flip them to new homeowners. To do this we have to make sure the investment makes sense for both you, the current owner, and us.  That's why we are as transparent as possible, letting you know what we need to do to get the unit rent or sale-ready, and why we are offering what we are.  No sales tactics or slight of hand, just a straight forward approach.
